About Nira Scherz-Busch:

Nira Scherz-Busch, M.S. Is a licensed school psychologist in private practice.

She was licensed for the private practice of school psychology by the Wisconsin State Department of Regulation and Licensing (psychology board) after having been licensed as a school psychologist (life license) from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Past Professional History:

In 1981 Nira Scherz-Busch, along with Dr. Diana Sauter, a Licensed School Psychologist and a Licensed Psychologist, founded Child & Family Psychological Services Clinic, specializing in working with unique learners. Dr. Sauter moved out of Wisconsin in 1985. She had since served on the Board of Directors of IDA, and was one of its Vice-Presidents.

Since 1985, Nira Scherz-Busch has been the Owner and Director of Child & Family Psychological Services Clinic. Her special interests in unique learners, literacy, giftedness, and Developmental Learning Disorders in children and adults have included: assessment, evaluation, diagnosis and advocacy for individuals with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, other language-based Learning Disorders, as well as Non-Verbal Learning Disorders (NLD), and Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD/ADHD), as well as Gifeted/Talented and “Twice-Exceptional” learners.

Bachelor of Arts- Psychology and Philosophy, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel.

Master of Science - Educational (School) Psychology, University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Graduate Education - Department of Educational Policy Studies, University of Wisconsin - Madison, and Behavioral Studies (Special Education).

Nira Scherz-Busch is a parent of four successful unique learners, including a successful adult daughter with dyslexia and ADD, now a Licensed Registered Nurse.
